Yiayia Next Door has enjoyed collaborating with the following brands to create content designed to share their story.
Since The Age featured Daniel and Luke’s story in May 2019, the two brothers have been delighted to be invited to talk publicly at events or with media about their own personal experience.
Public Speaking
Highlights include a public speaking event with the Carlton Football Club players in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 around the horrors of growing up with family violence and touched on themes of overcoming adversity, facing fears and rising to be your best. Daniel and Luke spoke from the heart and the room was filled with emotion. Since then, Carlton has embraced the brothers as their own and they are proud ambassadors of the Carlton Respects.

When speaking at the National Australia Bank’s ‘It’s Time for A New Conversation’ series, Daniel and Luke shared their story and took questions from audience and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. This has led to additional speaking engagements with NAB.
